Sending Secure Password-Protected Presentations with Wiredrive

When sending sensitive material with Wiredrive, we recommend that you take precautions to ensure that your files are protected from unauthorized views and downloads. We offer the following security enhancements on Presentations that you will want to familiarize yourself with.

Disabling Downloads and Requiring Password

To disable your client from downloading your file, you will want to uncheck the box labeled "Allow download/podcast/RSS"

To require a Password for the end user to view your Presentation, check the box labeled "Require password" then type your password into the box below. We DO NOT include this password in the email for security purposes, so you will have to provide this to your client via another means.

Expiring a Presentation Sent by Mistake

If you happen to send a Presentation to the wrong email address or send the wrong Presentation entirely, you can expire that link so the recipient cannot view the contents.
