Wiredrive supports files uploaded with the codecs listed below. To ensure playback across different browsers and devices, Wiredrive will convert your video to an MP4 file with 1080p resolution using H.264 High Profile. If the video you uploaded to Wiredrive already meets these specifications, then the video will play back without transcoding. If the video you uploaded is below 1080p, then it will be displayed with its original resolution.
Keep in mind that your original file is preserved. When you download a file from Wiredrive, you download the file that was originally uploaded, not a transcoded version.
