In the summer of 2022, we rebranded our app from Shift to MediaSilo. As part of this rebranding, we updated our URLs to contain “mediasilo.com” instead of “shift.io.” You’ll notice this change in your web browser’s address bar whenever you access MediaSilo, whether you visit the login page, a project, a Review Link, or any part of the app.
Our updated URLs will not disrupt your work. Any links, bookmarks, or API integrations using “shift.io” will continue working.
Will my Review Links still work?
Yes. If you’ve sent Presentations or Review Links containing “shift.io,” your links will still direct viewers to the content you’ve shared with them. All of your link settings will remain intact.
The same applies to any pages you’ve bookmarked in your web browser and any direct links to projects, folders, or files that you’ve shared with members of your team.
Will my API integrations still work?
Yes. If you’re new to MediaSilo, please use our updated endpoints that contain “api.mediasilo.com.” If you’re already using endpoints that contain “api.shift.io,” they will continue working. You do not need to update your scripts. Our API documentation is available here.
Do I need to do anything?
For most users, the answer is no. However, if your company has certain web-browsing restrictions in place, then your IT department may need to whitelist the domain “mediasilo.com.”
