Track Your Usage

Screeners customers have unlimited usage of all product features (unlimited users, unlimited Titles) and are only billed through the consumption of SafeStream, our proprietary visible and forensic video watermarking technology.

Watermarking minutes are consumed whenever a unique, personalized file is generated for a viewer. On the first occasion that a viewer presses play, SafeStream generates a completely unique, personalized version of that video file for the viewer. This file may contain both visible and forensic watermarks that indicate the viewer's identity. The total duration of minutes is then consumed from a customer's overall bundle of minutes. 

Because each unique file is only generated once, additional views by that viewer do not result in additional charges. The viewer can rewatch as often as they want at no additional cost. Likewise, the type of watermarking used has no impact on pricing. Customers who use every form of watermarking simultaneously are charged the same rate as those who use only a single form of watermarking at one time. 

You can track this usage daily through the Usage page. 

This feature is accessible only by Administrators.

In the Administration section, select the Usage option on the lower left:

At the top of the page, you’ll see a bar graph with your usage in minutes. Light blue indicates the minutes used in this account, in dark blue are the minutes used by any other Screeners, MediaSilo, or SafeStream usage under your contract, and in grey are your total remaining minutes on the contract.

Below the graph, use the date picker to see data within a custom window, and the download icon to export a CSV file of Titles and minutes used.
