Viewing Presentations Offline with the Podcast

It is possible to view a Wiredrive Presentation offline using the podcast function in Wiredrive combined with the playlist feature in iTunes.  

To do this, first create a presentation with the Allow Podcast option turned on.



When viewing the presentation, click the Podcast button at the top.

Your browser may then prompt you to verify that you want to launch iTunes (This process requires iTunes version 11+). Click Launch Application. 

iTunes will import the first spot in the reel. Click the Old Episodes button. 

Click on Add All. 

Now, click the cloud icon to the right of each spot to download files locally. Files will now be viewable in iTunes.

To match the original order of the sent presentation

Click Settings Change Sort Order to Oldest on Top and change Play Order to Oldest First This new order should now reflect the original presentation.

Pro Tip: You MUST change the sort order for the files to play sequentially.

You can also manually arrange the order of the presentation using the Playlist function. First, make sure all files are downloaded (via the cloud buttons). Next, highlight all files, click the dark circle, then select:

Add to> New Playlist.

This creates a new playlist in iTunes where you can set the file order via drag and drop.  You can then view your reel sequentially from the Playlist menu.

Make sure you do not have your podcast settings set to delete viewed episodes, otherwise it will delete files as you view them.
