Issue
When scanning directories containing individual image files (such as JPGs, PNGs, or TIFFs), Flow automatically combines sequential images into a single video clip rather than scanning them as individual assets.
Solution
To disable image sequence detection globally across Flow Scan, run a command-line configuration update and restart the Flow Scan service.
Note: Disabling this setting applies globally. Intentional image sequences will no longer be detected automatically and will also scan as individual files.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Disable Image Sequences via CLI
Log into your Flow Scan server.
Open your terminal or command line and run the following command:
flow-setting set scan image-sequences-enabled false2. Restart the Flow Scan Service
Open Flow Control.
Navigate to Systems > Select Server > FLOW Scan.
Click Stop and wait a few seconds for the service to halt completely.
Click Start to initialize the service with the updated setting.
