EditShare OS 2025.1.2 has been released to address the below issue. If you are eligible and able to upgrade to 2025.1.2 please do so, otherwise please follow the workarounds below.
TLS 1.3 Hybridized Kyber Support became default in Chromium Based Browsers Version 124 and later can cause connection timeouts with EFS Control, Flow Control, AirFlow, and Flow Automation, particularly over VPN's. Recent versions of Firefox have also introduced this browser setting as a default.
In the various browsers this may be known as:
TLS 1.3 Hybridized Kyber Support
TLS 1.3 post-quantum key agreement
or variants there in
- In Google Chrome enter the following in the address bar
chrome://flags/#enable-tls13-kyber
and switch from Default to disabled. Relaunch Google Chrome
Note Google Chrome 138 has removed this flag.
Expect a software update from EditShare shortly to address this issue in Google Chrome.
In the meantime please consider one of the alternative browsers such as Opera, Firefox or Safari for MacOS
- In Microsoft Edge enter the following in the address bar
edge://flags/#enable-tls13-kyber
Switch from Default to disabled. Relaunch Microsoft Edge
Note Microsoft Edge 138 has removed this flag.

In the meantime please consider one of the alternative browsers such as Opera, Firefox or Safari for MacOS
- In Opera enter the following in the address bar
opera://flags/#enable-tls13-kyber
Switch from Default to disabled. Relaunch Opera
In Mozilla Firefox enter the following in the address bar:
about:config
Click Accept the Risk and Continue (if prompted)
Search for "security.tls.enable_kyber"
Switch from true to false. Relaunch Mozilla Firefox
