Question: Will I still have the ability to log in using my local user credentials after integrating EditShare (EFS) into our Active Directory environment?
Answer: After adding EditShare to your Active Directory, you will retain the option to access resources with existing local EditShare user accounts.
Question: Can Active Directory (AD) and locally authenticated 'EditShare' user accounts simultaneously access resources when using the EditShare?
Answer: Yes you can have both local and AD user accounts but they must be unique names. So you can use a local account called jdoe and an AD account called johndoe
Question: How are Active Directory (AD) users access privileges managed
Answer: In much the same way that local accounts are managed, individual AD users and AD groups can be assigned to media spaces, and those AD users can have Read/Write or Read Only access to those media spaces.
Question: Can web clients such as AirFLOW and EditShare One also log in with Active Directory (AD) accounts?
Answer: Yes. Web based clients will authenticate using the same AD mechanisms as non web tools such as EditShare Connect
