When you open an asset that has AI enabled, MediaSilo will automatically open the AI section for that asset. You will see the AI Tools panel in the right sidebar has been selected. You will also notice that above the AI Tools selection is Highlights and Transcripts, which also correspond with AI features. Inside the AI Tools panel, you will have access to three options: Find Highlights, View Entities, and View Scenes.
Find Highlights
Selecting Find Highlights will automatically take you to the Highlights tab. The Highlights tab works in tandem with MediaSilo's AI Search. When you perform a search across an AI-indexed project, the Highlights tab will populate with all the matching detections found within the video you are viewing. View Entities
Entities represent the people (faces) and logos that the AI has automatically identified within the video. You can display results for only people, only logos, or both. Selecting an entity will automatically take you to the section of the video where that person or logo is. The timeline under the asset will display markers for those entities while the AI Tools drawer will list out the timecode sections for each time they occur. You can select each marker to jump directly to the moment the entity appears. The player will then display a helpful box around each identified face or logo on the screen. Note: If the AI detects a face it doesn't recognize, it will temporarily label it as an unknown followed by a number. (e.g., "unknown 5"). You can click on this unknown entity directly within the asset window, upload a picture, and name the person. This updates your workspace so that the specific person is recognized moving forward.
View Scenes
For each shot in the asset, the AI will provide a text interoperation of the visual contents separated by the timecode for when it occurs. You can select any individual description to be taken to the exact location in the asset. For more information on Scene Detection see: MediaSilo AI - Scene Detection
The Transcripts Tab
The Transcripts tab will take you directly to the Dialogue section of the AI Tools Panel to provide you with a copy of the transcript of the asset. For more information on AI Transcripts see: MediaSilo AI - Transcripts
